Legend speak about - hardcore version

An old legend tells that to the south, beyond the gates of Arvergne, at the bottom of a chasm, exists a parchment containing a magic forgotten by humans. Legend has it that this magic brings forth monsters, the bitter and cruel people of the abyss. Legend also has it that magicians have repeatedly failed to bring back this ancient power, dying in vain in that desperate quest.
